Houston Restaurant Weeks 2012 Smashes Donation Record to the Houston Food Bank! $1,222,735 raised to fight hunger in Houston.

HRW 2012 Restaurants

We encourage you to visit these restaurants year-round. Please thank them for their hard work done in August during Houston Restaurant Weeks, resulting in their substantial donations to the Houston Food Bank!

. Galveston and Montgomery County Food Banks
The Houston Food Bank has three Partner Distribution Organizations (PDOs): the Brazos Valley Food Bank, the Galveston County Food Bank and the Montgomery County Food Bank. The Houston Food Bank provides food to these smaller food banks, which in turn distribute the food to hunger relief charities in a portion of Houston Food Bank's service area. The Houston Food Bank certifies that our PDOs meet Feeding America standards.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from Galveston and Montgomery area restaurants go directly to their local area food banks: Galveston County Food Bank and Montgomery County Food Bank.

Houston Restaurant Week was established in 2003. Now called Houston Restaurant Weeks, the event showcases and promotes Houston's incredible array of fine restaurants to the fine dining crowd while raising money for the Houston Food Bank. Your dining dollars make a difference!

Founded and chaired by volunteer Cleverley Stone, HRW is planned by volunteers so that 100% of funds raised are donated to the Houston Food Bank.

Format **
$35 Dinner per person - 3 Courses (4 courses at some restaurants)
Restaurants donate $5 per dinner sold to the Houston Food Bank

$20 Lunch per person - 2 Courses (3 courses at some restaurants)
Restaurants donate $3 per lunch sold to the Houston Food Bank

** Please note that all menus are subject to change based up availability of fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Search for restaurants by brunch, lunch, dinner, cuisine and neighborhood. 
Click Menu Search: Brunch, Lunch or Dinner, at the top of the page.
To see ALL restaurants, just click on Menu Search at the top of the page.
 
Dining reservations are required.
Restaurants may accept walk-ins at their discretion.

Make Reservations:
. Call the restaurant at the number listed on their HRW page.

. Use the 'Reservations by Email' link, if one is posted.
(Not all restaurants offer this option.)

. Click on 'Make reservations online' for OpenTable.com link.
(Not all restaurants offer this option.)

. When making your reservations, please mention that you would like the HRW special menu.
 
How does the donation get to the Houston Food Bank?
It's easy! Just like any other dining experience, pay your bill at the end of your meal. 
The restaurants have pledged to donate $5 per HRW dinner sold, and $3 per HRW lunch sold to the Houston Food Bank. 
Our 2012 donation commitments from sponsors and participating restaurants totaled over $1.22 million! 
Make plans to dine out frequently during August 2013 at HRW restaurants!
